Family-Friendly Farm
As we begin our 7th season at our small Mason farm, we realize how fortunate we are to be able to pursue this dream. While farming has been in our blood for generations, it’s taken quite a leap of faith for us to make this happen. We love our community and are so thankful for their continued support!
We strive to produce the best sweet corn, pumpkins, squash, popcorn, beef, and pork each year. You can find our products at our road side farmstand (while in season) and look for us at our local grocery stores and farmers markets. We offer popcorn, freezer beef and pork year round through pre-orders only.
Our Story
Butcher Farms, located on Coy Rd in Mason, is a local family-run Farm that has been producing delicious fresh products since 2015. We purchased our home & farm in 2014 with the hope of beginning a small produce stand. After a near death car accident derailed those dreams 2 weeks after moving in, we had no idea what our future held for us. Through lots of prayers, an amazing medical team, hard work, and determination we were back at it nearly 9 months later and our first sweet corn crop was in the ground. We had no idea of the support that would follow that year. Each year since then we’ve grown tremendously and we count our blessings each day to be doing what we love.
Sweet Corn
$0.50/ear. $3/half dozen. $6/dozen. $25/bushel.
We’ve been told our sweet corn is the best in town! It’s a super sweet, bi-color variety that you’ll fall in love with.
Pumpkins
$4-$25
We grow over 20 different varieties of pumpkins each year! From big to small, smooth to warty, orange to white we have what you’re looking for.
Squash
$2-$4
We offer many different varieties of squash including butternut, acorn, buttercup, spaghetti, and blue hubbard. Use them as a side for your fall meals or enjoy them as a meal itself! Easy to cook and freeze so you can enjoy it all winter long.
Honey
$6-$12
We initially brought honeybees to our farm for their amazing pollination abilities. The feedback from our first round of honey was awesome so we decided to bring in even more hives.

Our next restocking of honey will be late summer 2021.
Pork
$250+

Our pigs are fed a perfectly balanced diet with all the minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates and proteins they need. We make all our own feed so we know exactly what our pigs are eating. This is offered to them free choice so they determine when and how much they eat. This allows them to grade out at high quality with superior tenderness and flavor. We do not use hormones of any kind.
We offer pork in halves or whole as well as specific cuts by the pound.
We are licensed by the state of Michigan and inspected by the USDA to sell meat. For processing, we use Jones' Farm Market in Saranac, MI, as they are the nearest USDA inspected facility.

***Our next batch of pork shares will be available in August 2021. Contact us for further pork share information.

Tastiest sweet corn and every ear was chocked full of juicy kernels. I preordered a bushel for freezing and they had it ready for me when I arrived. I followed Mrs. Butcher’s freezer corn recipe so I can enjoy some of that local goodness all winter long.

This is the best corn you will ever eat. The selfish side of me does not want to tell anyone about this wonderful corn....the more they sell, the faster they'll run out. We eat it almost every day when it is in season. We are very lucky to have this in our community and people willing to sell it from their home. In years past they have also had zucchini and other vegetables for sale too. Thanks Butcher Family !

We will be making this an annual tradition! Such a fun place to get pumpkins!
